Come on Spring!!! Even though Spring isn’t technically here until March 20th! It is beginning to feel like Spring here in Michigan!
We had an extremely frigid winter in Michigan….it was so cold that we broke some records! According to the National Weather Service in White Lake, Michigan the temperature in Detroit averaged 20.9 degrees, which is the eighth coldest winter, and the coldest winter since 1977-78. There have been 13 days below zero in Detroit, which is the seventh most below zero days on record and the most below zero temperatures since 1983-84.
With that being said, we are READY for Spring temperatures!!! Today is suppose to be a high of 45 degrees and by Wednesday we are suppose to see a high of 57 degrees. Changing seasons is exciting for new puppies and their owners! Everything is new to a puppy! Coby was born on September 11, 2014, which means he is currently about 6 months old. As far as seasons, Coby knows only Winter (snow and cold). I am so anxious for him to begin experiencing new things like grass, playing in the yard and dog park, walks, local concerts, and more.
One of those new experiences happened today. I decided to let the boys spend some time in our screened in sunroom. Right away, Coby was in there barking, laying in the sun, wrestling with his brothers, hearing new noises and smelling new things. I’m not sure how Coby feels about this changes but I know one thing…THIS mommy is ready! Come on Spring!!!!
